Word on the street....

....is that John Edwards might endorse Hillary for President. If he does that, then his delegates (all 12 of them) will probably go to Hillary. Yeah, it's not a big deal, but that's 6 Superdelegates she can now afford to lose.

She also picked up a big endorsement from the N.C. Governor (himself a Superdelegate). It looks like the Jeremiah Spite controversy is really hurting Obama. Not necessarily with the sheeple, but with the movers and shakers of the Democrat party. The people that are affected by the Rev. Spite's words are the undecided and independents. The kool-aid drinkers won't change their minds even if he shoots someone in the head.

I can't wait for the convention!

Jeremiah Wright Is Disgusting!!

Monday, April 28, 2008 | | 0 comments

I have been listening to the Liar Jeremiah Wright at the Washington Press Club and it is the most racist commentary I have experienced in my life.

The chickens have come home to roost, Liberals. The evilness that is flowing from the Liar Jeremiah Wright on to the press is perfect. The press is getting a face full of foolishness and reverse racism. The Liar has been feeding the press a shit sandwich and they are eating up with gusto!!!

Enjoy the tasteful shit, media, you deserve it. I hope you have the racist Liar Wright next week and several weeks following!

A drift from the norm...

As probably all 5 of PEP's readers are aware, the NFL draft was this weekend. My hometown Atlanta Falcons selected QB Matt Ryan of Boston College with the #3 overall pick. I say good for them - they needed a QB, a leader on offense (now that Warrick Dunn & Alge Crumpler are gone), and a boost to move on from the whole Michael Vick debacle.

But surprise surprise - one of the sportswriters from the local fish wrap, the Al-Jazeera Constipation, thinks that drafting Ryan was "highly debatable". He won't come out and say "wrong" because then he could be taken to task if Ryan becomes a very successful QB in the NFL. This sportswriter thinks that the Falcons should have picked.....get ready for it....Glenn Dorsey, Defensive Tackle from LSU.

I wouldn't have a problem with either one of them - they both have their upsides and downsides. The problem I have is with the writer.

Good ol' Terence. One of Mike Vick's defenders. A "sportswriter" who last year took the Atlanta Braves to task for not having "enough" black players in the lineup. I believe he wanted the Falcons to take Glenn Dorsey not only because of his playing ability, but because of his race.

And that, in and of itself, is more racist and/or bigoted than anything.

I'm disappointed, but not shocked.

So this is your plan, Nancy?

Friday, April 25, 2008 | | 0 comments

Smart move IMHO - Republicans are now asking for Nancy Pelosi's "common sense plan to lower gas prices" that she promised two years ago.

Here is the story about it.

So here is part of of Queen Nancy's plan. Stop buying oil for the Strategic Petroleum Reserves. There's only a couple of problems that I see with that wonderful plan:

1) The US is only filling the SPR with 70,000 barrels per day. The US uses 21,000,000 barrels per day. That equates out to 0.003% of the total usage by the US per day. And by doing that, Pelosi says that the average driver will save 5 to 24 cents per gallon at the pump? What math does she use to get this figure? I can tell you - it's the old "pull-it-out-of-my-ass and the mainstream media won't call me on it" new math.

2) It's incredibly short-sighted. What happens if our oil flow is blocked or shut off for some reason? This same group of people will then bitch and complain that we didn't fill the reserves.

Fill the reserves, and let's find some other oil to drill for. Like say, ANWR? Or off the Fla coast? How about building some refineries along the way? And maybe, just maybe, settle on one kind of gasoline?

I don't care what you say, Shibuii, The New York Times Is NOT For Sale!!

For those of you that don't speak 'Finance,' that reads:

"The New York Times is For Sale, CHEAP!"

Or

"Make An Offer!"

Now this just pisses me off

As all 5 of PEP's readers know by now, I am NOT supporting John McCain for POTUS.. However, this little missive from the Los Angeles Times just rankles me to no end.

Oh, really?

Can you prove it doesn't?

I can tell you that a chiropractic visit on Monday fixed my girlfriend's vision problem. I tried for years to cure her through sex, to no avail, but Dr. Fish did it through chiropractic care. She was going to get her sore back fixed and the back is better and the vision is clear. Dr. Fish does not charge extra for vision care.

.....BUT.....

ElChuck shouldn't be allowed to post stuff while he's high.

In other news, the Dems will continue to blow themselves up, since Hitlary won by more than 10% in Pennsylvania.

BTW - who the hell said she has to get out of the race if she didn't win big in PA? She will take this to the convention, no matter if she loses EVERY. SINGLE. RACE. FROM. NOW. ON.

You will have to cut off her head and shit down her neck in order to stop her now. She probably won't win. But, she will continue.

And that's only good news for the other side.

Conversation with a liberal

Liberal: I heard you guys teasing Jimmy Carter yesterday

Me: Jimmy Carter is a dingbat. He was specifically asked by the Secretary of State not to talk with Hamas, and he did it anyway.

Liberal: It doesn’t matter if he was doing it as a private citizen.

Me: First, do you think Hamas would just sit down and talk with just any American private citizen? Second, Carter is an ex-President. Anything he does will be representative of the United States. He could fart in the general direction of Egypt and it would be construed as an insult by America.

Later….

Liberal: So you really think that ex-Presidents can’t have private lives?

Me: Sure they can. But when they open their mouths in front of the media, that’s where it ends. I think Bill Clinton has sullied the Presidency even more by campaigning for his wife while insulting and degrading the other candidate. What if Obama becomes President? How would it be taken if a former President of the same political party insults the current president? I’ll tell you how – weakness. I just hope Bush goes back to his ranch after he’s done and we never hear from him again.

Liberal: I wish we’d never heard of him in the first place. Al Gore may not have been a better President – we’ll never know. But he wouldn’t have done loony things like Bush has.

Me: *Uncontrollable laughter*

You gotta love the Democratic selection process so far....

"Never murder a man who is committing suicide." -- Woodrow Wilson

It's so fun to watch the Democrats blow each other up.

It just makes me wonder if the other side will have any ammo left to use when the General Election period starts. It may be that it's not needed, but don't underestimate the Republican ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

After years of only one way communication I can understand just how you would be upset that it is now possible for the great unwashed to comment on your work. How dare they presume to understand the complexities of life. Their job is to read, learn, and obey, not question what you say.

I will agree with you that there are many uninformed opinions expressed on various news forums but in case you missed it, there are many informed opinions as well, and there is usually a lively debate between various posters.

If someone post an “uninformed opinion” they are subject to being challenged and forced to defend their views. Instead of hating those that you disagree with, why not join the discussion, you may end up educating two people, the person you are writing too, and yourself.

A Little Something Different!

Yes, the Politically Expedient Pundit has berthed children. You will be seeing two new authors on this blog. It is rare in life that you can find people that agree with you; that is why the two new authors are on this blog, because they do not agree with me and this provides dialoge and ambition to grow. The Left will never grow, becuase they live in an echo chamber hearing their own great thoughts over and over again...Marx, Stalin, Guevera, Castro, Clinton, Obama...same music, different dancers. We will have new music, new dancers and a new look soon enough.

Demoncrat Debate

Thursday, April 17, 2008 | | 1 comments

I have to admit, I didn't watch a minute of the Democrat Debate yesterday, and I haven't opened a page about it. With the 24 hr news cycle that we're in, do we really need to keep having these primary debates? Everything that's being said in the televised debates has already been said before.

Now, in the general election, that's a fish of a different hue. I will enjoy seeing (hopefully) the 3-4 major candidates (and yes, I'd almost pay money to see Nader included in the debates) face off with each other in a debate about different ideas. I would like it, though, if they weren't so cordial. I hope that Obama, McCain, Barr, and Nader get together and just start ripping each other a new one.

Now, if someone like Michael Savage & Ariana Huffington were the moderators, that would spice things up even more.....

Killing me softly with his song...killing me softly....

Well, well, well. The Supremes did something right, and not just by a 5-4 decision. They voted 7-2 to uphold the legality of lethal injections for executions. Only Ruth Buzzi Ginsburg and GHWB's failure voted against it. How they could do that is beyond me - I guess Michael Savage was right when he said that "Liberalism is a mental disorder". Personally, I wouldn't waste a doctor, drugs, or humanity on any of this trash that is sentenced to die. One bullet is all it takes.

I'm all for due process.....BUT....people sentenced to die on death row should just go ahead and be removed from wasting any more good oxygen. Why should I have to pay my tax dollars to keep a killer alive just because he doesn't want to suffer the same fate as his victim? An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.

Juck Fon McCain

Wednesday, April 16, 2008 | | 1 comments

I am a new contributor to PEP, so I figured I'd start out with a bang. I know ElChuck is currently supporting John McCain in the '08 election (after his man-crush Rudy dropped out like Shaniqua drops out of junior high school after getting pregnant), so I figured I'd say this:

Fuck John McCain.

I am a dyed-in-the-wool Reagan Conservative (yes, I did capitalize both). I believe in lower taxes, less government, and a strong national defense. And before you say it, yes...I know McCain has said that he's for these things also.

Listen closely.

I
DON'T
CARE

McCain lost me by voting against the Bush tax cuts, for sponsoring McCain/Finegold, and for working with Ted (hic) Kennedy on the Amnesty bill.

I will not vote for the lesser of two evils, whoever the other side's evil may be. McCain will win GA (where I live) easily. I won't have to vote Republicant for McCain to win here.

There is only one person running that is for limited government, lower taxes, a strong national defense, and is believable.

Bob Barr.

Yes, shocking as it may be, I am voting Libertarian this year. You should too.

http://www.lp.org

Yes, there are a lot of moonbats in the party at this time. But if we get enough regular folks there, we can marginalize them and make the Libertarian Party a true Conservative party.

I used to be a Republican. I have voted for Republicans. No more.

Reagan said it in 1962: "I didn't leave the Democratic Party, the Party left me."

And I say it in 2008.

"I didn't leave the Republican Party, the Party left me."

So in closing. Juck Fon McCain, Fuck the Republican party, and Fuck you very much ElChuck for allowing me to contribute.

It has been your pleasure.
